Home Work is a cozy little spot tucked away on Sukhumvit Soi 31 (Soi Sawasdee), just a short walk from BTS Phrom Phong. It\u2019s actually been around for over 30 years\u2014one of those local favorites known for hearty, handmade dishes.<\/p>\n\n

I was wandering around Bangkok alone that day, just taking it slow, and as luck would have it, Home Work was right next to my hotel. So I thought, why not stop in for lunch?<\/p>\n\n

The interior is bright and inviting\u2014clean white walls, warm wood tones, brick-red accents. It\u2019s kind of a mix between French country and modern industrial. Big windows let in plenty of light, and the high ceilings make the space feel open and airy. There\u2019s a mix of regular tables and comfy sofas. The whole vibe is super chill, perfect for a slow afternoon.<\/p>\n\n

I slept in late and wasn\u2019t that hungry, so I just ordered an Americano\u2026 but then I saw \u201cWagyu Pasta\u201d on the menu and couldn\u2019t resist.<\/p>\n\n

The menu\u2019s pretty straightforward. Nothing too fancy.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n

They brought out some warm bread to start.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n

And let me just say\u2014that Wagyu Pasta is one of their signature dishes for a reason<\/strong>. It\u2019s definitely in their top 5 most popular orders. Think: thick, juicy chunks of wagyu beef over handmade pasta, with a creamy or peppery or maybe even red wine sauce\u2014it\u2019s got that fusion of premium Japanese beef and rich European flavors going on.<\/p>\n\n

And the beef? Massive pieces. I was impressed.<\/p>\n\n
