The phone signal slowly weakened, but the view became clearer and less cluttered. The moment we arrived at The Hub Erawan, my most immediate reaction was\u2014this place is really remote. The air is humid, and the breeze carries the scent of grass and trees. There is none of the background noise of the city\u2014only flowing water and the sounds of insects. My body reacted before my mind did, and I naturally became completely calm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-first-impressions-upon-arriving-at-the-hub-erawan\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span id=\"first-impressions-upon-arriving-at-the-hub-erawan\">First Impressions upon Arriving at The Hub Erawan<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-3 wp-block-paragraph\">When I walked into the room, I paused for a moment. It was not because I was pleasantly surprised, but because I wanted to confirm&#8230; yes, this really was the same room shown online. The space was very simple, perhaps even basic to the point of being crude. The walls, furniture, and bathroom were all maintained at the minimum level required for practical use. Neither the room nor the breakfast could be described as refined. At more than two thousand baht per night, especially in such a remote mountain location, it was difficult not to have some doubts\u2014but outside the window, the river continued to flow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-the-value-of-the-location\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span id=\"the-value-of-the-location\">The Value of the Location<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-5 wp-block-paragraph\">The greatest advantage of The Hub Erawan is its location. It sits beside the River Kwai, and it is genuinely close to nature. It is not separated from the river by a road or a large lawn. They were not harsh or irritating, but formed layers of natural background sound. There was no traffic and no distant neon glow. Both the bathroom and the room were very basic, without any details that could be considered impressive. I could even hear the wooden floor creaking whenever someone walked in the room next door, but since it was my younger brother staying there, I let it go. Still, my body was honest.
