fill the schedule too tightly. As we grow older, we begin to understand that a journey does not need too many stops\u2014it only needs to feel just right. It is one of Thailand\u2019s major dams and also one of the area\u2019s larger attractions. The drive from central Kanchanaburi takes around one and a half hours. From the River Kwai Bridge, the distance is approximately 70 kilometres. The reservoir looked like a calm lake stretching toward the distant mountains. The wind was stronger than in the city, and the air felt much cleaner. They simply stood quietly and looked across the water. I suddenly realised that it had been a long time since we had travelled together in such a simple way. No one was rushing, and no one was replying to work messages. What it offers instead is space, scenery, and quiet. Visitors can walk along the top of the dam, and there are viewpoints nearby.
