The process went more smoothly than I expected, perhaps because it was still quiet in the morning. By the time I finished, it was lunchtime, so I started looking around the mall for somewhere reasonably priced where I could sit down and enjoy a proper meal. There\u2019s no carefully packaged artsy aesthetic, just a reassuring feeling of eating at Mom\u2019s house. The menu isn\u2019t complicated, and prices generally range from 150 to 280 baht, which feels reasonable. The salted beef is finely chopped but still pleasantly chewy, and the rice grains are nicely separated. The \u0e1c\u0e31\u0e01\u0e2b\u0e27\u0e32\u0e19 (wild greens) are tender with a slight bitterness, while crisp, fragrant \u0e1b\u0e25\u0e32\u0e2a\u0e25\u0e34\u0e14 (Thai salted freshwater fish) adds savory depth.
