Customer C took me in their company car to a very famous Vietnamese pho restaurant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

C is a second-generation, but he\u2019s not the least bit delicate. He has a kind of stubbornness, determination, and a strong desire to get things done. At the same time, he kept telling me how amazing his dad is. After talking to his dad for a while, I also felt that his dad was impressive. In an era when few Taiwanese businessmen ventured into Vietnam, he was already running his business there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meal, there was an old lady constantly speaking in incomprehensible Vietnamese nearby. C initially waved her off, but couldn\u2019t stand her persistence in the end. He ended up buying a lottery ticket from her, which is quite different from how lottery tickets are sold in Thailand (laughs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The vitality of Vietnamese cities is quite astonishing, and everyone seems to have an iPhone in hand. There are also quite a few foreigners on the streets. At the entrance of the restaurant, there were a few teenagers specifically helping with parking. I smiled because it\u2019s not exactly a necessary job, but everyone just understands why they pay for it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
