The pork chop rice at Bistro D has a familiar taste, perhaps it’s been too long since I’ve had it, or maybe it’s the nostalgia that comes with such infrequent visits. Today’s meal feels particularly nostalgic.
There’s only one stomach, and today’s choice isn’t the truffle spaghetti recommended online.
The food came out quickly. Sitting next to me was a group of Vietnamese people, chatting animatedly and pointing at my food, then they ordered the same meal. The taste is indeed still good, the only thing missing is those down-to-earth pickled vegetables you find in the market or at lunchbox joints.
The restaurant is located in Terminal 1, Section B, at Taoyuan Airport.
