Came to Nong Nooch Garden with my partner today to watch a show.
I feel like 99% of Thailand’s “warmth” comes from the blazing weather. The venue was super hot—just a simple pavilion, kinda like a fancy old-school outdoor stage.
But once the show started, it was actually pretty fun. They even brought out elephants! Definitely a big step up from the budget college shows I’ve seen before (well, this one does have ticket fees, after all).
The performance was all about Thai history and cultural scenes. Honestly, it was a pretty well-done show.
Then we watched the elephant show—also quite impressive, though I couldn’t help but feel a little sad for the elephants. So, we decided not to go for an elephant ride.
