Mensho Tokyo is no ordinary ramen shop—it’s a game-changer. Founded in Tokyo by ramen master Tomaharu Shono, this place takes ramen to the next level with its rich flavors and premium ingredients, creating an ultra-satisfying dining experience.

Today, I finally made it to Mensho Tokyo Bangkok, and of course, I had to try their signature ramen! Located at RSU Tower on Sukhumvit Soi 31, it’s just a 6-minute walk from BTS Phrom Phong, making it super convenient to get to. The interior is a refreshing change from the usual wooden aesthetic of traditional ramen spots—here, bold red walls and modern seating create a vibrant, stylish atmosphere that immediately sets the mood for something special.

Sat at the counter today—nice and minimal setup.

And get this—even David Beckham stopped by when he was in Bangkok. If it’s good enough for Beckham, you know it’s legit!
Now, let’s talk about this signature ramen. The moment it arrived, the aroma alone was enough to make my mouth water. The broth? An ultra-rich, creamy chicken paitan with a beautiful milky-white hue. One sip and you’re hit with pure umami bliss—thick, velvety, and packed with deep, slow-cooked chicken flavor. It’s rich but not overwhelming, with just the right balance to keep you coming back for more.

But wait—it’s not just the broth that’s insane. The meat game here is next level! You get a generous serving of flame-seared chashu, tender chicken, and even Wagyu beef. Each cut has its own texture and flavor, but they all share one thing in common—juicy, melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Pair that with handmade noodles that are perfectly chewy and absorb the broth like a dream, plus classic toppings like soft-boiled ajitama egg, bamboo shoots, scallions, and nori, and you’ve got a bowl that delivers on every level.

Portion-wise? It’s massive—one bowl is more than enough to satisfy, even for big eaters. No wonder Beckham loved it! If you’re into rich, thick ramen and want to indulge in premium meats all in one bowl, Mensho Tokyo is a must-visit ramen spot in Bangkok.

Wash it all down with an ice-cold drink, and you’re golden.
