Classic Kameo Ayutthaya is the hotel I stayed at for a last-minute business trip, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. It’s an apartment-style accommodation, and while the duvet was a bit thin, everything else was just right.
Personally, I feel that Classic Kameo Ayutthaya is a great place for anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Ayutthaya, whether for a short vacation or a long-term business stay. It has a homely feel, making it a comfortable choice for any type of traveler.
The rooms are simply yet thoughtfully designed, with spacious one-bedroom and two-bedroom units. Each room features a small kitchen, a comfortable sofa, and a workspace, making it ideal for both relaxation and handling any work tasks.
The kitchen is very convenient, though we didn’t use it much, but for long-term stays, I can see it being quite practical.
The only downside for me was the thin duvet. When the air conditioning is set low, it doesn’t provide enough warmth, but that’s just a minor issue.
For added convenience, Classic Kameo Ayutthaya offers a well-equipped gym, steam room, and an outdoor swimming pool – perfect for unwinding after a busy day.
There’s also a steam room and lockers available, adding to the comfort.
The restaurant serves a rich breakfast every morning, giving you the energy to start your day. They also offer all-day dining, so whether you prefer enjoying a meal in the restaurant or preparing something simple in your room, it’s very convenient. Long-term guests can also make use of the laundry and housekeeping services, adding to the ease of everyday living.
Breakfast here has to be one of the most memorable ones I’ve had lately. The fact that the owner is Japanese and there are many Japanese guests means the breakfast menu includes curry rice, natto, and even self-serve miso soup.
The apartment’s location is excellent, too, just a short drive to the historical sites like the Ayutthaya Historical Park, making it easy to explore the ancient culture.
The surrounding area is peaceful and quiet, far from the hustle and bustle, allowing guests to enjoy the unique charm of this ancient city. There’s also ample parking for those who drive.
For anyone looking for a peaceful, homely place to stay, whether for a short visit or a longer stay, Classic Kameo Ayutthaya is an ideal and affordable choice.
