Classic Kameo Ayutthaya was the hotel and serviced apartment I stayed at on this last-minute business trip. Apart from the duvet being a little thin, everything was very good.

Personally, I think Classic Kameo Ayutthaya is a good choice if you’re coming to Ayutthaya and want a relaxing place to stay. Whether it’s a short holiday or a longer business trip, you can feel at home here.

The property offers spacious studios and one- and two-bedroom apartments. Each room type is thoughtfully designed, with a kitchenette, a comfortable sofa, and a work area, so you can rest and still get any work done that you need to.

The kitchen in the room is very handy, too. We didn’t use it most of the time, but I think it would be great for anyone staying longer on business.

For me, the only downside was that the duvet felt a little thin. When I turn the air conditioning down low, it’s just not quite as satisfying without a thick duvet to curl up under. But that’s my preference, not a problem with the hotel.

For everyday comfort, Classic Kameo Ayutthaya also has a well-equipped gym, a steam room, and an outdoor pool, all good places to unwind and recharge after a busy day.

Besides the pool, there is a steam room, lockers, and everything else you need.

The on-site restaurant also offers a wide choice of breakfast dishes every day to get the morning off to a good start, along with food throughout the day. Whether you want to enjoy an easy meal in the restaurant or cook something simple in your room, both are convenient. Long-stay guests can also use the laundry room and housekeeping service, making everyday life a little easier.

This was probably the breakfast that stood out most to me recently. Either the owner is Japanese or they have a lot of Japanese guests, because breakfast even included curry rice, natto, and self-serve miso soup.

The property is also in a great location, just a short drive from Ayutthaya’s historic sights, including Ayutthaya Historical Park. That makes it easy to explore the area’s ancient culture.

The surroundings are peaceful, away from the bustle of the city, so you can relax and enjoy the distinctive charm of this ancient capital. There’s plenty of parking, too, which is handy if you’re driving. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing place for a longer stay or just planning a short visit, Classic Kameo Ayutthaya is a welcoming, affordable choice.
