Today, I brought the children to Black Forest Pattaya for lunch. We had originally planned to find somewhere casual to eat, but unexpectedly discovered this warm and European-inspired restaurant. It is located in a relatively quiet lane, although its entrance is surprisingly dramatic and eye-catching.

Dining Environment at Black Forest Pattaya
The entrance is surrounded by trees and climbing vines, making it look from a distance like a small forest hidden within the city. When you open the door, you are greeted by a gentle scent of wood and flowers. The overall atmosphere feels peaceful, relaxing, and quietly restorative.

The interior follows a wooden forest theme, with natural colours used throughout the tables, chairs, lighting, and wall decorations. The high ceiling creates a good sense of airflow, while sunlight enters through the large windows and falls gently across the green plants. The entire space feels very comfortable. As soon as the children saw the seats beside the garden windows, they excitedly said they wanted to sit there. There is also an outdoor seating area, which feels especially pleasant when the evening breeze begins to blow. For families with children, the restaurant is spacious, clean, and tidy, so parents do not need to worry too much about energetic children disturbing other diners.

Today’s Dishes at Black Forest Pattaya
We ordered a classic and dependable selection of dishes, and every one of them turned out well.
Thai-Style Fried Pork: Fried until golden and crispy, with a crunchy exterior while the inside remains juicy. Served with a mildly spicy dipping sauce, it was so enjoyable that even the children competed for the last pieces.

Stir-Fried Mixed Vegetables: Although it looks simple, the heat was handled very well. The vegetables remained crisp with a gentle garlic aroma, making the dish a refreshing balance to the richer items.

Grilled Chicken Garlic Fried Rice: This dish was definitely the MVP! Every grain of rice was well separated, the garlic aroma was irresistible, and the chicken was tender and juicy. Every bite was full of flavour.

Fried Snack Platter: The platter included French fries, cheese sticks, hash browns, and cheese balls. Everything had just the right level of crispness, and the children were extremely happy with it.

For drinks, we chose two milkshakes. The chocolate milkshake was rich and smooth, with just the right amount of sweetness. The strawberry milkshake had a refreshing sweet-and-sour fruitiness, making it a lovely dessert after the meal. We also ordered a Yuzu Cano, which seemed to be an Americano mixed with orange juice. Overall, the portions were generous and the prices reasonable. The adults enjoyed the meal, and the children were satisfied as well.

Overall Review of Black Forest Pattaya
The restaurant staff were very friendly, and the attention to detail showed the owner’s care. The environment was clean, the restrooms were spotless, and the music was soothing, making the entire dining experience quite pleasant. If you have time, it’s actually a great place to sit for a while, order a drink, and chat.

Overall, Black Forest Pattaya is the kind of restaurant that makes you want to return. It does not rely on extravagant plating and is not simply a famous check-in spot, yet it has a warm feeling similar to coming home for a meal. It is highly recommended for families travelling with children, couples looking for a quiet space, or anyone who simply wants a comforting and dependable meal.
There are also several areas featuring installation art inside.

The entire restaurant is filled with greenery and offers many large, photogenic scenes. If you enjoy taking photos, love restaurants with a forest atmosphere, and are not sure where to go, this restaurant is a very good choice.
